2025 CHINASHOP: OVOPARK’s 360㎡ Immersive Space Smartly Ignites AI-Powered Retail Future

The 25th China Retail Expo (CHINASHOP) was grandly held at the Shenzhen International Exhibition & Convention Center from May 8 to 10. OVOPARK participated with a 360-degree㎡ immersive space, showcasing its core concept of “AI-Driven Full-Scene Retail Experience.” The company delivered a comprehensive feast of technology and commerce for global retail professionals through real-world scenario demonstrations, cutting-edge product portfolios, and in-depth technical insights.

At the OVOPARK exhibition booth, the “AI Real-Scene Demonstration Area” became the focal point. It replicated the entire digital transformation process of retail operations, covering “people, goods, and space.” In this area, an AI patrol robot acted as a “store manager assistant,” autonomously inspecting the store and engaging in voice interactions with customers to answer product questions. This significantly enhanced management and marketing efficiency.

On the shelf display area, intelligent shelf detection cameras monitored real-time conditions such as product placement and stock levels. Stock-out alerts and misplacement notifications were instantly pushed to managers’ terminals, enabling remote store management beyond traditional staff and environmental oversight. Combined with customer traffic heat map analysis, these tools further optimized inventory turnover and in-store customer journey design.

OVOPARK’s AI catering inspection system utilizes AI video technology to monitor front-of-house and back-of-house operations. It automatically detected delays in order fulfillment or violations like improper placement of knives and other items. Upon identifying anomalies, the system triggered alarms and sent reminders, helping stores standardize workflows, ensure food safety, and improve efficiency.

For optimizing space utilization, AI-driven space occupancy analysis provided real-time insights into customer density, occupancy rates, and table turnover rates within stores. These metrics were visualized in an intuitive interface, aiding managers in dynamically adjusting service resource allocation strategies.

In the loss prevention context, AI behavior recognition systems are integrated with transaction data to detect and alert on abnormal operations at the checkout, reducing human-induced losses and associated business costs.

During the exhibition, OVOPARK also set up a dedicated “AI-Driven Full-Scene Retail Transformation” lecture area at the booth entrance. Senior product managers, AI application experts, and industry consultants from OVOPARK delivered in-depth presentations on topics such as customer traffic analysis and growth practices, how AI technology drives omnichannel operational efficiency, and tailored insights for industries like catering, footwear, apparel, and fashion. They shared innovative methodologies for digital transformation, empowering retailers to break through traditional operational barriers.
